In fact, we have two of them: one running at the Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Cedar Crest Campus and the other on the Air Products Campus, both located in Lehigh Valley, PA.
Our hydrogen buses may look like regular buses but inside is a state-of-the-art hydrogen-powered engine. So unlike other buses you see on the roads with black polluting exhaust, our buses emit water. We didn’t invent time travel, but when you hop on one of these buses, you’re definitely headed to the future.
There’s also a hydrogen fueling station on the Air Products Campus. Sorry, it doesn’t have coffee yet, but we’re working on that.
The hydrogen station stores approximately 140 kilograms of hydrogen. It includes an automated dispenser capable of delivering the fuel to the bus. The station will serve as a model for future stations.
